Details of tuition fee, schedule of examination, number of seats and instructions for fill up the application form

  

1.      You can fill more than one form.  For each course, a separate form is required to be submitted. The Courses are:

 

i)                   Journalism (English),

ii)                 Journalism (Hindi),

iii)               Journalism (Odia),

iv)               Journalism (Urdu),

v)                  Journalism (Marathi),

vi)               Journalism (Malayalam)

vii)             Radio & TV Journalism

viii)           Advertising & Public Relations.

 

2.      Entrance Examination of Hindi Journalism and English Journalism will be common. Candidate may submit an application form for either Journalism (Hindi) or Journalism (English).

 

3.      Similarly, The candidates can submit one application form for either Journalism (Urdu)/ Journalism (Odia)/ Journalism (Marathi)/ Journalism (Malayalam). The written entrance examination for above courses will be conducted simultaneously.

 

4.      Applicants born on or later 1st August 1993 only are eligible to admission for General Category, 1st August 1988 or later for SC/ST/PH category and 1st August 1990 or later for OBC category.

 

5.      Candidates filling the application form downloaded must also send a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- for General  & Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH category drawn in favour of IIMC, New Delhi as Application Fee on or before 1st  May 2018.

 

6.      After filling the online application form and if you have paid application form fee through gateway, there is no need to send PDF of the application form to IIMC.

 

7.      It is the personal responsibility of the applicant to ensure correctness in filling up the form.  Any deliberate misrepresentation of information discovered even after the admission would result in cancellation of admission to the course.

 

8.      Only Indian Nationals are eligible for these courses.

 

9.      The entrance examinations, 2018-19 for Journalism (Hindi/English), Radio & TV Journalism, and Advertising and Public Relations are scheduled to be held on (Sunday) 27th May 2018 and Journalism (Urdu/Odia/Marathi/Malayalam) entrance examinations will be held on (Saturday) 26th May 2018.
