1) Deputy Registrar:
Duties and responsibilities:
1)
Attached with the post: The Deputy Registrar
will have to function in supervisory capacity and will handle the work of
accounts, administration, campus maintenance and academic activities. He will
also function as Nodal Officer, and Drawing & Disbursing Officer.
Eligibility:-
i)
Officers holding analogous
post/same Pay Band and Grade Pay on regular basis in the department of Central
Government, State Government or Autonomous Institutions and has experience of
handling Finance, Accounts, Administration and Academic Matters.
OR
ii)
Officers working in the scale of
Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- for at least 5 years and has
handled the work of Finance, Accounts, Administration and Academic Matters.
OR
Officers
with 8 years of regular service in Central/State Government/Autonomous
Institutions in the Pay Band of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-.
He should have handled the functions of Administration, Accounts
Establishment, Academic Activities and Estate in supervisory positions.
2) & 3) Assistant Registrar (Academic) & Assistant Registrar (Administration, Accounts & Estate):
Duties and responsibilities:

Attached with the post: Assistant
Registrar (Academic) will have to look after the work related with Academic area
of the Institute, which includes Development Journalism Course for Foreign
Nationals and Short Term/Sponsored Courses besides regular courses in Mass
Communication.
3)
Attached with the post: Assistant
Registrar (Administration, Accounts & Estate) will handle the functions of
Administration, Accounts & Estate.
Eligibility:-
i)
Officers holding analogous
post/same Pay Band and Grade Pay on regular basis in the department of Central
Government, State Government or Autonomous Institutions and has experience of
handling Finance, Accounts, Administration and Academic Matters.
OR
ii)
Officers working in the scale of
Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/- for at least 2 years and has
handled the work of Finance, Accounts, Administration and Academic Matters.
OR
Officers
with 3 years of regular service in Central/State Government/Autonomous
Institutions in the Pay Band of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-
and Rs. 4,600/-. He should have
handled the functions of Administration, Accounts Establishment, Academic
Activities and Estate in supervisory positions.
4) Sr. Research Officer:
Duties and responsibilities:

Attached with the post: The Sr. Research Officer will handle Research, Studies and Evaluation of the Media and
Communication Projects.
Eligibility:-
Officers
holding analogous post/same Pay Band and Grade Pay on regular basis in the
department of Central Government, State Government or Autonomous Institutions
having:
i)
High Second Class Master’s
Degree in Social Sciences or Equivalent Grade.
ii)
At least 8 years Research
including Teaching Experience in any of the Social Sciences including:-
a)
Diploma/Certificate/Training in
Research Methodology
OR
b)
Diploma in
Communication/Journalism from a recognized University/Institute
OR
c)
Ph.D/M.Phil or evidence of
published research work in Social Sciences
OR
d)
Knowledge of Data Processing and
Statistics
